Parameter 700
Operating mode (when DIP switch S2/3 is deactivated)
This parameter is used to set the basic operating mode of the inverter.
VFC /
V/f characteristic curve
Default setting for asynchronous motors.
This setting is suitable for general applications such as conveyor belts, horizontal drives, etc.
VFC hoist
The hoist function automatically provides all functions required for operating a simple lifting application.

WARNING

Risk of injury if the drive starts up unexpectedly when the signal relay K1 is used for controlling the brake.
Severe or fatal injuries.
- If the signal relay K1 is used to control the brake, do not change the parameters that define the function of the signal relay.
- Before changing parameter P700, check whether the signal relay is used to control the brake.
The motor brake must be controlled via the inverter for a correct operation of the hoist function.
The VFC hoist operating mode influences the following parameters:
No. | Index dec. | Subindex dec. | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
P300 | 8515 | 0 | Start/stop speed | = 60 min-1 If the start/stop speed is set to less than 60 min-1 |
P301 | 8516 | 0 | Minimum speed | = 60 min-1 If the minimum speed is set to less than 60 min-1 |
P303 | 8518 | 0 | Current limit | = nominal motor current If the current limit is set to less than the nominal motor current |
P323 | 8526 | 0 | Premagnetization | = 20 ms If premagnetization is set to a lower value than 20 ms |
P500 | 8557 | 0 | Speed monitoring | = 3: Motor/generator mode |
P620 | 8350 | 0 | Signal output K1 | = 5: Brake on |
P731 | 8749 | 0 | Brake release time | = 200 ms If the brake release time is set to less than 200 ms |
P732 | 8585 | 0 | Brake application time | = 200 ms If the brake application time is set to less than 200 ms |
P738 | 8893 | 0 | Activate brake release without drive enable | = 0: OFF |
In VFC hoist operating mode, the MOVIMOT® inverter checks whether the values of these parameters are permitted.
The speed monitoring function cannot be deactivated in VFC hoist operating mode.
The brake release without drive enable function cannot be activated in the VFC hoist operating mode.
The function of the signal relay output can be parameterized.
VFC / V/f DC braking
With this setting, the asynchronous motor brakes via a current injection. The motor brakes without a braking resistor on the inverter.

WARNING

Risk from uncontrolled braking. With DC braking, no guided stop or adherence to a specific ramp is possible.
Severe or fatal injuries.
- Use a different operating mode if required.
