Discharging using the discharge unit

To connect the discharge unit and short-circuit connector, a discharge connection socket and a discharge fuse must be installed. For further information, refer to chapter Installing the discharge unit connection.

  1. Discharge the MOVI-DPS® storage bundle using a discharge unit from SEW-EURODRIVE. Observe the operating instructions of the discharge unit.
  2. Immediately after discharge, short-circuit the device by inserting the short-circuit connector into the discharge connection socket. To ensure the short circuit, the discharge fuse must always be set to ON.
  3. Remove the short-circuit connector before restarting.
