Procedure in the event of the fuses tripping

If the MOVI-DPS^® storage unit is disconnected from the DC link by triggering a fuse, do not replace this fuse as long as the MOVI-DPS^® storage unit is still charged. The connected devices can be destroyed.

Only an electrically skilled person is permitted to discharge and short-circuit the MOVI-DPS^® storage unit.

In some cases, a multi-fuse concept consisting of main fuse and subfuse is used. In this case, check the main fuse as well as the subfuse. This applies regardless of whether the subfuse itself has also been triggered.

If a fuse has tripped, check all live parts. Replace these parts in case of damage. If an overload occurs with other disconnecting components, e.g. contactors, thermal circuit breaker occurs, replace the entire component.
