Disconnecting the system from the power supply

Ineffective disconnection from the grid due to charged storage units.
Severe or fatal injuries.
  • Discharge the storage units before disconnecting them.
  • Never open the storage units.
  • Never short-circuit any charged storage units.

INFORMATION

Use the discharge unit from SEW-EURODRIVE to discharge the MOVI-DPS® storage units.

When the MOVI‑DPS® storage units are used as part of a system, simply disconnecting the system from the power supply does not necessarily ensure a safe state.
