Performing a parameter measurement
After the third-party motor startup, you are asked whether you want to perform a parameter measurement.
Parameter measurement
Option | Meaning |
|---|---|
No | The parameters are calculated. |
Yes | The parameters are measured. SEW‑EURODRIVE recommends that you always perform a parameter measurement for third-party motors to ensure a better control mode. |
Motor temperature
Select the approximate, current motor temperature here.
Start measurement
To start the measurement, press the <OK> button.
Measurement successful
To exit parameter measurement and thus startup, press the <Esc> key.
To start the measurement again, press the <OK> key.
Exit startup
Observe the warning and press the <OK> key.
