Gateways, communication modules, and cable routing

Proceed as follows:

  1. Remove the (signal) terminal cover and install it offset downwards.
  2. Install the gateway [2] on the front of the inverter and tighten the retaining screw.
  3. Mount the cable clip [3] on the cover [1] as cable routing for the network cables.
    • The gateway has been installed.
  4. Connect the network cables.
    • For EtherCAT®/SBusPLUS: X40 (IN) and X40 (OUT)
    • For fieldbuses: No particular sequence
  5. To secure the network cables [4], use the cable clip [3] or the holes in the terminal cover.
  6. Install the communication module [1] on the front of the inverter and tighten the retaining screw.
  7. Connect the gateway to the communication modules with the supplied ribbon cable [5] and route it as follows:
  8. Reinstall the transparent front cover [6] for all communication modules.
