Setting standard and CIP safety communication via separate masters
EtherNet/IP™ offers the option of implementing a "shared device" function without additional effort. Separate connections from different masters to the device are established for both safe communication (CIP Safety™) and non-safe communication.
The configuration is as follows:
Non-safe communication
The safe process data must be deselected and deactivated in the module definition.
Safe communication
In the module definition, the non-safe process data must be deselected and deactivated.
