External enable
If an external enable is required, use binary input DI00 of the master for external enable.
The enable function can be carried out via an external switch or via an external controller. An external controller can also be used to query the status.

An external switch [1] is used to provide the enable signal between the binary output DO00 of the last SP slave and the binary input DI00 of the SP master.

The enable function takes place via binary output DO00 of the external controller. The binary output D001 of the last SP slave must be fed back to binary input DI01 of the SP master. Optionally, the binary output DO01 "Synchronization: Ready signal" can be used to determine the status of the SP synchronization network, see chapter Status of binary terminals.
