Connection via EtherCAT®
A direct connection via the EtherCAT® interface enables the inverters to be started up in advance in the network without an EtherCAT® master.
In the MOVISUITE® engineering software, select the EtherCAT®/SBusPLUS network type and perform the network scan via the active LAN connection of the engineering PC.
All devices that are detected during the network scan are transferred to the MOVISUITE® project.
The following example shows an axis system consisting of a standard inverter and an inverter with CiA402 device profile in the combined network and function view of MOVISUITE®.
