To prevent damage to the system, use hardware limit switches as well as software limit switches to limit travel. Take these into account in your safety concept.

The control system consists of the PLC with the user program for sequence control and the function module for controlling the drive. The function module has an integrated power output stage. This converts the pulses into the drive currents required for the respective drive. You can define a software limit switch in the function module and then define a response in your user program when it is exceeded.
