Startup notes

Perform the following steps before startup:

  1. WARNING! Faulty device behavior due to incorrect device setting. Severe or fatal injuries. Observe the following information.
    • Always have the installation carried out by trained specialists.
    • Only use settings that are correct for the function.
  2. WARNING! Risk of burns due to hot surfaces. Severe injury. Let the device cool down sufficiently before touching it.
  3. NOTICE! Damage to property by switching the voltage supply off and on again without sufficient cooling time. This resets the thermal memory. Let the device cool down sufficiently before switching it back on.
  4. Fit the protective covers of the system according to regulations. You thereby avoid injury.
    • Never start the device if the protective covers are not fitted.
  5. If you are using the product in a lifting application, additional monitoring systems or mechanical protection devices must be used for protection.
  6. Disconnect the device from the power supply with suitable external measures before you start working on the device and secure it against unintentional reconnection to the voltage supply.
  7. Never plug or unplug plug connectors, interface modules, or other electrical connections while they are live. This may result in dangerous electric arcs damaging the product.

INFORMATION

  • To ensure fault-free operation, do not disconnect or connect signal cables during operation.
