Process sequence and signal states

INFORMATION

For the behavior of the drive at standstill, observe the information in section "Stop functions" in the "Control functions" configuration menu of the inverter.

INFORMATION

If the motion sequence is interrupted by removing the enable signals enable/reset = "0" or mode "00" (application stop) or when leaving FCB 09 (positioning), the travel process must be restarted by setting "Apply relative position". The target position is recalculated and saved, i.e. the drive moves to a different target position than originally desired. If the movement is not to be aborted but only interrupted (while retaining the original target position), the drive can be stopped by removing the direction of movement (start/stop – positive or start/stop – negative). If the movement must be interrupted by an application stop or by removing the enable, the "Fixed pitch" function can be used.

Signal states

[1]

Output stage enable/reset

DI 00

  • "1": Enable
  • "0": Output stage inhibit (FCB 01)

Operating mode 2^0

DI 03

  • "1"

Operating mode 2^1

DI 04

  • "1": After specifying a distance via the "add relative position" signal

[2]

Activation of the direction of movement for the relative movement. If the direction of movement is reversed or an ambiguous direction of movement is set during travel to the first target, the drive is stopped and continues to the original target when a direction of movement is set again.

DI 01

  • "1": The drive accelerates to the fixed speed with the acceleration permanently set for the specified table position.
  • "0": The drive is held at speed 0 subject to position control.

[2]

Specification of the distance

(relative position)

DI 05

Activation of the required table position

Example: Table position 2^0 selected

[4] to [5]

and

[7] to [8]

Add relative position

Information: The relative position is calculated once with the rising edge of the signal, and is saved. With the next positive edge (also during movement to the first target), the travel section can be extended or shortened by the specified relative position.

DI 07

  • "1": Add relative position

[9] to [10]

Interruption of travel by removing start/stop – positive

DI 01

The motor decelerates along the set table deceleration and then stops subject to position control.

Up to [4],

[6] to [7]

and from [11]

"In position"
feedback

DO 00

  • "1": "In position" signal active.

If the actual position lies within the configured window width, the feedback "In position" is issued and the corresponding bit of the table actual position is set. The drive stops subject to position control.
