Operating modes

The following table shows the available operating modes.

The functionality (such as absolute or modulo positioning) is defined by setting the parameters "Operating mode", "Positioning mode", and "Additional mode" in the Module configuration configuration menu. For information on settings that have to be made, refer to the subchapter of the respective operating mode. An operating mode should be activated or changed at standstill. Deselect the "start/stop – negative" and "start/stop – positive" signals for this purpose.

INFORMATION

For operating function blocks, the configuration settings made in the MOVISUITE® configuration apply.

INFORMATION

If the drive is still moving when the "Table positioning" operating mode (operating mode: relative) is activated, FCB 26 is used to decelerate the drive until it stops. The stop point is the reference point for relative positioning. This behavior only applies if the operating mode "Relative" has been preselected in the configuration of the software module.
