Fault responses
The occurring faults of the safety option are divided into 5 different fault classes. Depending on the fault class, the fault response described in the following table is carried out:
Fault class | Fault response |

FS message. | Entry in fault memory, no further response. |
FS warning. | Entry in fault memory, no further response. |
FS output fault, FS input fault, FS encoder fault. | Entry in fault memory and safe state of digital inputs and outputs as applicable. |
FS system error. | Entry in fault memory and safe state of digital inputs and outputs. |
FS critical fault. | Entry in fault memory and safe state of digital inputs and outputs. No safe communication. |
