Setting IP address parameters
You can set the IP address parameters of the MOVIDRIVE® technology application inverter as follows:
- Using an engineering tool for PROFINET, such as TIA Portal (see Integrating and configuring an inverter into or in the PROFINET network)
- In MOVISUITE® version V2.31 or later via the Address Editor tool
In the delivery state, the PROFINET interface has the following IP address settings:
- IP address: 0.0.0.0
- Subnet mask: 0.0.0.0
- Standard gateway: 0.0.0.0
With these IP address settings, direct startup via Ethernet and MOVISUITE® is not possible.
Valid IP address settings can only be assigned during initial startup or after resetting the inverter to delivery state (parameter group [Basic settings] > [Reset device parameters]) as follows:
- By connecting the engineering PC to the engineering interface of the inverter using an USM21A interface adapter.
- By using the engineering tool of the PLC (PROFINET controller), e.g. TIA Portal.
- In MOVISUITE® version V2.31 or later, using the MOVI-C® Address Editor tool. You can find the tool under [Windows Start Menu] > [SEW].
As soon as the IP address settings are valid, the inverter can also be accessed via Ethernet with MOVISUITE®.
