Application-specific parameters
The following application-specific parameters are available for configuring the "Rotary knife" function.
Number of tools
Number of tools on the axis (minimum number = 1; maximum number = 10).
The tools are distributed evenly. The cycle limit depends on the number of tools and on the axis, and is calculated via (360 °/number of tools).

Nominal product length
Setpoint for the length of the produced products in mm.
With linear master, the X value of the generated curve profile corresponds to the nominal product length.
Diameter
Diameter of the rotary knife (see mechanical data) in mm.

Synchronous angle
Angle in degrees at which the rotary knife moves at the same speed as the product at the point of cutting.

Sync correction
Nominal deviation from synchronism in the synchronous angle when moving towards undersynchronism with negative value or moving towards oversynchronism with positive value. This parameter can be used, for example, to compress the product if required.
