Deleting data saved using the engineering software
The MOVISUITE® engineering software allows you to retrieve all data of the product and save it locally or on remote memory units.
If the data saved in this way is classified as relevant for IT security, delete the data when removing the product from the environment.
When data is saved by an engineering software in the environment of the product, the following data types and data volumes are created:

If a MOVISUITE® project contains an IEC Editor project of a controller, the size of the MOVISUITE® project file can be up to 1 GB. The IEC project of the controller is automatically integrated into the MOVISUITE® project and is not available separately.
When using MOVIRUN® open Editor, the controller project is saved as a standard CODESYS file in PROJECT format. The file size depends on the project, but is usually less than 1 GB.
