Secure removal of data stored in the product

Using the MOVISUITE® engineering software, you can delete the data saved in the product or reset them to the factory settings.

The amount of data stored on the product is less than 1 MB.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In MOVISUITE®, select the Reset device parameters menu item in the Basic settings menu of the described product.
  2. Click the Delivery state button.
  3. Perform a power-on reset by briefly switching the line voltage and the 24 V auxiliary supply off and on again.
  • All parameter values are overwritten with the values of the delivery state.

This includes the following data, if available for the product described:

  • Configuration of the device
  • Scope recording of the device
  • Fault memory
  • Device name
  • IP Address
  • Safety-relevant data
  • MOVIKIT® program information

The following data is not reset during this procedure and can be modified individually if available on the described product:

  • Function activations
  • AS-Interface address
  • Data set of the safety option
  • EtherCAT® device designation
  • PROFINET name
  • Last detected options
