System components

In the case of a setup with an MCR91A-1600.. regenerative power supply the VLE-001 precharging unit is always required. The precharging unit precharges the DC link of the structure. If the DC link is precharged, the precharging unit switches the line contactor. In addition to the precharging unit, a line choke and a line filter are required.

The use of DC link chokes can be omitted depending on the constellation. For further information, refer to chapter Configuration of the DC link connection.

Only the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply may be connected to the supply system. All other inverters are connected to the DC link of the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply.
