Synchronous reluctance motors in VFC^PLUS control mode

In VFC^PLUS control mode without encoder , the entire speed range of the drive can be used dynamically.

However, continuous operation of synchronous reluctance motors without encoder at low speeds is not possible. The speed setting range is 1:50.

The described restrictions do not apply in the VFC^PLUS control mode with encoder. In comparison to operation without encoder, higher dynamic properties can be achieved with an encoder. The maximum dynamics of the speed control loop are reached with a high-resolution encoder. The speed setting range depends heavily on the encoder system used.
