Project planning example

The following project planning example shows the project planning of the 24 V voltage supply:

  • The inverter supplies the DI01 digital input with voltage.
  • Power demand of the digital input: 24 mA × 24 V = 0.6 W
  • The motor brake is controlled via MOVILINK® DDI.
  • Power demand of the motor encoder (EI8Z) and the integrated brake rectifier: 2.6 W + 0.9 W = 3.5 W
  • A digital output is loaded with DC 50 mA.
  • Power demand of the digital output: 1.2 W
  • Power demand of the basic unit (size 0S, -T0./../DI/CSO/CFN): 6.5 W
  • Total power demand: 11.8 W

An external 24 V voltage supply is essential.
