Functional test of the modular residual current device

Test the functionality of the modular residual current device on a regular basis. The required test intervals for compliance with the requirements of DGUV V3 are to be set individually depending on the respective hazard assessment.

The MOVIKIT^® PowerMode and EnergyMode software modules automatically test the functionality every time the energy storage unit is synchronized and switched on. If the storage unit is not disconnected and switched on again for a predefined period of 1 to 365 days, the system issues a warning. In such a case, actively initiate the test by disconnecting the storage unit and switching it on again.

You can set the predefined period via the MOVIKIT^® software module. The default setting is 180 days. Alternatively, you can also initiate the test manually on the MRCD. To do so, press the test button "T" for 5 to 10 seconds. Independently of the regular tests, also perform the test after maintenance and repair work has been carried out.
