Optimization cases
Depending on the direction of travel, the Y-axis operates either only in motor mode (lifting motion) or only in generator mode (lowering motion). During each travel movement, the X-axis first operates in motor mode and then in generator mode for deceleration. This results in the optimization cases described below.
Additional information
- Optimization case 1 – the X-axis is the master axis, the Y-axis is in lifting mode
- Optimization case 2 – the X-axis is the master axis, the Y-axis is in lowering mode
- Optimization case 3 – the Y-axis is the master axis, the Y-axis is in lifting mode
- Optimization case 4 – the Y-axis is the master axis, the Y-axis is in lowering mode
