The 4-quadrant DC/DC converter module is intended for connecting an external energy storage unit. It decouples the storage voltage from the DC link voltage. This allows an external memory to be used more efficiently or to have a more compact design.

Alternatively, it can be used as a power supply module for connecting to industrial DC supply systems.

Features:

  • Nominal current: 20 A, 75 A
  • Parallel connection: max. 4 modules
  • Voltage range on DC link end: DC 0 to 800 V
  • Voltage range on energy storage end: DC 0 to 800 V
  • Overload capacity: up to 160% for 60 s
  • Communication: Module bus master or slave, EtherCAT®/SBusPLUS
