Using controllers

The MOVIKIT^® software modules from the Power and Energy Solutions product range support the UHX25A, UHX45A, UHX65A, and UHX86A MOVI-C^® CONTROLLERs.

In principle, devices from Power and Energy Solutions can also be operated without a controller and thus without the MOVIKIT^® software modules.

In cases where an external energy storage unit is integrated into the application, the use of a MOVIKIT^® PowerMode or EnergyMode software module is required in order to guarantee the safety of the system. In this case, control with an external PLC via EtherCAT^®/CiA402 is not possible.
