Product description
This catalog describes the X..e series industrial gear units.
Generation X.e forms the global basis of the industrial helical and bevel-helical gear unit range from SEW‑EURODRIVE and, like the gearmotors of smaller torque classes, is characterized by a comprehensive modular system. In addition, the variety of options, the power density, and the individual adaptation by means of special designs are decisive features.
The objective of generation X.e was to provide an optimum drive for the customer through a fundamental improvement in the hardware and a newly designed calculation landscape that can be designed exactly according to customer requirements, and is available on a global level.
There is always a suitable industrial gear unit available for your application due to the finely stepped sizes.
The main design features of the modular system include:
- Single-piece and split gear unit housings,
- Invertible gear unit housings,
- And universal mounting positions (M1 to M6).
In combination with the wide range of options, all options are available for customer-specific adjustments to meet your needs.
Generation X.e can be used in the following application areas:
- In conveyor systems as used in the building material, extractive, chemical, food, and feed industries.
- In the timber and paper industry.
- In the environmental industry.
- In mixers and agitators.
- As travel and lifting drives for indoor, handling, and container cranes.
- For shredders and crushers.
- For bucket elevators in bulk handling applications.
