Equipping several MDC90A-.. capacitor modules with temperature sensors

The temperature sensor can be monitored by the application program via the MOVI-C^® CONTROLLER.

This requires the use of additional hardware, such as the OAI45C I/O module. The dropping resistor from the accessory pack is not required in this case.

As a temperature resistor, the Pt1000 temperature sensor is a non-polarized element because of the insulation that is used, which allows different connecting options via a suitable I/O module of the PLC.

The design of the sensor and the cable make it possible to connect the sensor using either 3-conductor or 2-conductor technology.

In the case of a connection using 2-conductor technology, one of the two red cables must be insulated at the end and suitably stowed away in the wiring space.
