The power supply module with the controlled DC link is used to supply the axis modules from the supply system, and can provide a DC link voltage in the range of 0 – 800 V which can be dynamically adjusted at any time. The device can set a higher voltage in the DC link than would be possible with a bridge rectifier alone. In this way, storage units that are used in the DC link can be charged to a higher level, and a higher energy content can be utilized.

The device has the following nominal and peak power:

• Peak power: 40 kW at 80 A for 60 s
