Brake test

The "Brake control" monitoring function is compatible with the following brake tests of application inverters:

• SBT brake test, integrated in the MOVISAFE^® CS..A safety option.
• FCB21 brake test, integrated in the basic device.

Information

• The monitoring function for the STATUS signal is automatically deactivated internally for the duration of a brake test (SBT or FCB21). Fault detection for the switching state of the STATUS signal is not possible during an active brake test.
• The monitoring function for switching frequency remains active during a brake test (SBT or FCB21).
• Other brake tests are not compatible with the monitoring function. In this case, use the SBT or FCB21 brake test or deactivate the monitoring function.
