Scanning the network for devices

Proceed as follows:

  • The connection between engineering PC and inverter is established using the USM21A interface adapter.
  1. Start MOVISUITE®.
  2. Create a new MOVISUITE® project from a network scan.
  3. Activate the network type "USB" and the slide switch "Scan".
    • If you are connected with the inverter via another interface, select the matching network type.

    INFORMATION

    If you have already set the valid IP address of the PROFINET interface, you can also access the inverter via Ethernet. In this case, select "Ethernet" as the network type. Make sure that you have the appropriate IP address settings for your engineering PC.
  4. Apply the settings and perform the network scan.
