General

Activate simulation

  • Yes – Simulate axis functions.
  • No – Do not simulate axis functions.

Index: 50000.2

IEC name: Inverter.In.xSimulation

Non-volatile position

  • Yes – After switching on, the position of the virtual axis is initialized with the value it had before being switched off. INFORMATION: After the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER has been switched on, the virtual axis does not report the correct position until the virtual axes have been enabled once. Once the enable has been given, the actual position is updated and is then permanently available.
  • No – After switching on, the position of the virtual axis is initialized with 0.

Additional functions

Position controller

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the functions for central position control and encoder evaluation

Index: 50000.102

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonPositionController

Anti-sway control

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function to configure oscillation-suppressing measures

Index: 50010.108

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonAntiSway

Combined encoder evaluation

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function for combined encoder evaluation

Index: 50010.107

IEC name: _fbController._stConfig.stOptionalModes.xAddonAdvancedEncoderEvaluation

Expert mode

Display additional setting fields in various configuration menus. The user is responsible for configuring these setting fields correctly. If the expert mode is not used, all setting fields of the expert mode are set to the default value to ensure optimum operation of the software module.

Synchronous operation function

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu is expanded when activated.

Select the synchronous operation function.

  • Standard
  • Synchronize/desynchronize directly to the master. Synchronization/desynchronization only makes sense when in idle state.
  • Advanced
  • Activate or deactivate additional synchronization/desynchronization modes, an offset correction, an adjust function, and extended synchronous operation status information.
  • Deactivated
  • Deactivate the synchronous operation function as well as the license prompt. This setting can be used to use the axis as a centrally calculated positioning axis or as a software module subordinate to a software node (e.g. with the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController).

Variable jerk

Activate or deactivate the function for variable presetting of the jerk.

INFORMATION: When using the additional function, refer to the more detailed information in chapter Variable jerk.

Index: 50040.100

IEC name: –

Energy coupling

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function to couple the software module with a power supply module for exchanging energy data. The actual function is implemented via a software module on the power supply module when it is activated.

Variable torque limiting Q1

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

The torque limit can be specified variably via the application. The "Torque" configuration value in the Limit values configuration menu then only takes effect in the cases described in chapter Variable torque limiting Q1. For fieldbus operation, the process data length is extended by 2 process data words.

Brake test

Activate or deactivate the function for using the FCB 21 brake test drive function.

INFORMATION: When using the additional function, refer to the more detailed information in chapter Brake test.

IEC name: –

Variable gear ratio master/slave

Activate or deactivate the function to specify the gear ratio between master and slave via process data.

INFORMATION: When using the additional function, refer to the more detailed information in chapter Variable gear ratio master/slave.

IEC name: –

Access control

INFORMATION: Only visible with "Advanced" permission level.

Activate or deactivate the function for separating the axis group when using the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController and independently moving the axis via the fieldbus interface.

Additional process values of the inverter

INFORMATION: See Additional process values of the inverter.

Activate or deactivate the function for configuring additional process values (process input data) of the inverter. Afterwards, they are transferred via the fieldbus interface. When you activate the function, the fields for setting the number of additional process values and the process data profile are displayed.

Touchprobe 1

INFORMATION: The Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function for reading the detected position and the trigger counter in the event of a trigger event. In combination with the "Touchprobe positioning absolute" operating mode, a trigger event can also be positioned at a position that is relative to the touchprobe position. For further information, refer to chapter Touchprobe 1.
