Devices

All devices or device options detected during the network scan are listed in the "Devices" tab. Each detected device or detected device option is listed as a separate entry in the list. Subcomponents subordinate to a controller, such as safety cards and inverters, are shown as subentries and can be expanded using the [+] button. Search and filter functions can be used to limit the number of devices that are displayed.

Devices/device options detected and applied during the network scan, with:

  • Unique PROFINET name or device signature
  • Unique serial number (asset ID) and current device availability
  • Network route for communication
    (IP address, EtherCAT®/SBusPLUS address, address of the device options)
  • Assigned system level (The option "Display system level in the device management" must be activated in the "Settings" menu in the "Plant" tab in the "System levels" section.)
  • Assigned application type
  • Device groups created by the user and assigned manually

INFORMATION: Individual devices can be checked by selecting the option "Check online availability" in the "Advanced functions" > "Selection" menu.
