Creating and assigning application types

For identification, assignment, and data analysis by higher-level systems, specific metadata must be assigned to the devices. To create and assign application types, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the "Settings" menu and select the "Data analysis" tab.
  2. In the "Application types" section, click [+ Add].
    • The "Application type" configuration menu opens.
  3. Enter the required designation in the "Application type" field.
  4. Click the [Save] button.
    • The newly created application type is displayed in the "Application types" section.
  5. In the "MOVI-C®" or "MOVI-B" menu, open the "Devices" tab.
  6. In the list of devices, select the required devices using the check boxes.
  7. Open the Advanced functions menu .
  8. In the "Selection" submenu, choose "Assign application type".
    • The "Application type" dialog window appears.
  9. Select the required application types from the "Application type" drop-down list.
  10. Confirm your selection with [Apply].
