Functional location for MOVI-C® | |
Functional location mode | Select the mode for specifying the "functional location" metadata. The metadata can be used to cluster the received data according to the implemented industrial application. You can choose between free text, constant, and template to fill the metadata. Additional settings are shown depending on the selected mode. |

Constant value for the functional location metadata item | Specify the constant for the functional location metadata. |
Template for functional location | |
Preview | Displays an example of the currently configured template for the functional location metadata. |
Separator | Select the separator between prefix, main part, and suffix. |
Functional location prefix | Select the content for the prefix of the metadata. |
Functional location main part | Select the content of the main part of the metadata. INFORMATION: If "Fieldbus name" is selected but no fieldbus name is available (e.g. with Ethernet/IPTM), the device signature is used instead. |
Functional location suffix | Select the content for the suffix of the metadata. INFORMATION: If "Fieldbus name of higher-level device" is selected but no fieldbus name is available (e.g. with Ethernet/IPTM), the device signature is used instead. |
