Bus cycle
A bus cycle consists of the following phases:
- Start of Cycle Frame – In the first phase, all stations (CNs) are synchronized.
- Isochronous Phase – In this phase, data is transferred cyclically between the master (MN) and the CNs.
- Asynchronous Phase – In this phase, non-time-critical data such as Service Data Objects (SDOs), device configuration parameters, diagnostic data, application data, recordings, and web browser applications can be transferred.
