Principle of installation

The modules are installed on a 35 ×7.5 mm or 35 × 15 mm DIN rail. Start by installing the bus coupler at the left-hand end of the DIN rail. Install further modules to the right of this. You can install the modules either individually or as a block on the DIN rail. To protect the contacts of the backplane bus and 24 V supply against damage, fit a bus cover to the last module in each row.
