0x8480-07 – Range limit positive direction

This object defines the positive travel limit when processing position values. If this value is exceeded, position values are set to "0x8480-08 – Range limit negative direction". Together with object 0x8480-07, this enables you to define a position range. For example, by setting "0x8480-05 – Software position limit positive" and "0x8480-06 – Software position limit negative" outside the range limits, you can obtain endless movement, as the software position limits will never be reached during movement.

For the smoothest possible changeover with open loop and pseudo closed loop, the travel limit should be set to a full step and not to a microstep in between. You can achieve this by selecting a multiple of "0x8180-02 – Gear factor" 1000 as the travel limit.
