Acknowledging a system fault

If safe digital inputs with active interlocking are used for acknowledging a system fault, adhere to the following sequence:

1. If possible, eliminate the cause of the fault.
2. Make sure of the following:
• No person is in the hazardous area of the system.
• The STO safety sub-function is activated via F-DI or via safe communication, and the SDI safety sub-function is deselected.
3. Acknowledge the system fault.
4. If necessary, select the deselected SDI safety sub-function again.
