Module description

The MOVIKIT^® BinaryTablePositioning Drive software module enables the implementation of positioning and speed applications and can be used with binary or AS‑Interface controlled devices with identical scope of functions.

The software module mainly uses the basic functions of the application inverters in use by activating the respective function blocks (such as FCB 09 Position control/FCB 05 Speed control) depending on the application. This means the scope of functions depends on the application inverter in use (present motor encoder).

Areas of application of the software module are, for example, materials handling technology (travel drives, lifting drives, rail vehicles) or various logistics applications (stacker cranes, pallet transfer shuttles or rotary tables).

No programming knowledge is required for startup and diagnostics as the software module is integrated in the MOVISUITE^® engineering software.
