Overview

MOVIDRIVE® technology is the inverter for direct line connection, suited for various types of applications, ranging from open-loop speed control to the servo drive with kinematic model. The product range is used for direct connection to controllers via industrial communication networks, such as PROFINET or EtherNet/IPTM.

The inverter comprises the following components:

  • Inverter basic device
  • Application level for using MOVIKIT® software modules of the Drive category
  • Optional keypads
  • Option cards for connecting to industrial communication networks
  • Option cards for functional safety in functionally different versions
  • Option cards for connecting additional distance encoders
  • Option cards for upgrading digital and analog inputs and outputs
  • Accessories for EMC-compliant installation
  • Accessories for connecting and controlling motors and brakes
  • Prefabricated motor and encoder cables

For use in harsh environments, the inverters can be supplied with painted PCBs. The coating of the printed circuit boards increases their resistance against environmental influences.
