MOVIKIT® Robotics add-on CollisionDetection
Range of functions extended to include the option of reliable collision detection without additional sensors. Appropriate responses are used to reduce damage to workpieces and robots and therefore prevent expensive tidying, cleaning, or repair work and the resulting, costly production standstills.
To detect collisions with precision, the actual status of the robot is continuously compared with its target status as stipulated in a dynamic model. As a result, collisions can be detected even with just slight deviations of the nominal torque. Collision responses such as the true-to-path emergency stop can be configured in advance. By using warnings with the relevant process values, collisions can be processed in a user-friendly manner so that readjustments can be easily made if necessary.
The sensitivity of the monitoring is configured via the MOVIKIT® MultiMotion and the response in MOVIKIT® Robotics.
