Auto addressing
Auto addressing is used, for example, in the event of a device replacement.
When using this method, only one device can be exchanged at a time in an active network.
Proceed as follows:
- The inverter is supplied with line voltage and/or DC 24 V backup voltage.
- The inverter is connected to the master via the AS-Interface interface module.
- The auto addressing function is activated in the master.
- Replace the device with a device of identical construction and identical device profile. You can set the device profile with DIP switch S2 (see Setting the device type with DIP switches).
- The newly connected device is in an unaddressed state (address 0).
- The master compares the configured device with the newly connected device. If the profiles of the two devices match, the corresponding AS-Interface address can be assigned to the non-addressed device.
