Setting the address via MOVISUITE®/CBG21A keypad

SEW‑EURODRIVE inverters can also be addressed via the MOVISUITE® engineering software or the CBG21A keypad.

Proceed as follows:

  • The inverter is supplied with line voltage and/or DC 24 V backup voltage.
  • The inverter is connected to the respective addressing device via the engineering interface.
  1. Open the configuration of the inverter.
  2. Enter the address under [Device properties] > [Communication] > [Fieldbus] (parameter number 2.2.2‑8.1‑1).
  3. If a device profile with extended address range A or B is set, select the corresponding address range of the extended address (parameter number 2.2.2‑8.2‑1).
