Optimization cases

The y-axis operates either only in motor mode (lifting movement) or only in generator mode (lowering movement) depending on the direction of travel. The x-axis first uses energy and then generates energy during deceleration for any travel job. This results in the optimization cases described as follows.

• Optimization case 1 – x-axis is the master axis, y-axis is in lifting mode
• Optimization case 2 – x-axis is the master axis, y-axis is in lowering mode
• Optimization case 3 – y-axis is the master axis, y-axis is in lifting mode
• Optimization case 4 – y-axis is the master axis, y-axis is in lowering mode
