Parameter setting via function block
The SEW_MOVI-C_SingleParameterAccess [FB200] function block is used for communication between the PLC and the lower-level inverters from SEW‑EURODRIVE.
Advantages of the function block:
- Simple engineering of inverters
- Communication via PROFIBUS and PROFINET
- Reading and writing of the parameters via acyclic communication services
From a functional point of view, the function block can be regarded as the successor to the acyclic parameter services of the SMLP (Simple MOVILINK® Protocol) protocol from SEW‑EURODRIVE.
