Adding EtherNet/IP™ devices

You can add EtherNet/IP™ devices in the following way:

• Manual configuration: Offline programming/preparation.

The prerequisite for this is the prior installation of the manufacturer's device description file.

• Installing the EtherNet/IP™ device description file (EDS)
• Appending a device
• Parameterizing EtherNet/IP™ devices and process data
• Testing the EtherNet/IP™ scanner
