Motor selection for asynchronous motors

The mechanical resistance of the motor against the overload, which might exceed the permitted limit values, must be strictly checked.

M_pk and n_base depend on the motor/inverter combination, as well as on the control mode used.

Asynchronous motors are operated on the MOVITRAC^® basic inverter exclusively in LVFC control mode.

This control mode is suitable for applications with a limited speed setting range, where no dynamic step changes in load occur and where there are small requirements regarding the control characteristics.
