Installation in damp areas or outdoors

Observe the following notes for mounting the MOVIMOT^® drive in damp areas or outdoors:

• Use suitable cable glands for the supply cable. If necessary, use reducers.
• Coat the thread of cable glands and screw plugs with sealing compound and tighten them well. Then coat the cable glands again.
• Seal the cable entries properly.
• Thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces of the MOVIMOT^® inverter before reassembly.
• If the corrosion protection coating is damaged, restore the coating.
• Check whether the degree of protection specified on the nameplate is permitted in the ambient conditions on site.
