Procedure in the event of a fault

Every SEW-EURODRIVE energy storage system must be monitored by a MOVIKIT^® PowerMode or EnergyMode software module. The "Error codes – MOVIKIT^® software modules" manual contains a list of all possible errors that may occur in an energy storage system.

Refer to the "Error codes – MOVIKIT^® software modules" manual for information on the meaning of the current error message and possible corrective measures.

Replacing defective DLC modules

For technological reasons, aged DLC modules cannot be freely operated together with new DLC modules in a storage bundle.

A defective EKM DLC module within an EKS storage unit cannot be replaced individually. The EKS storage unit can only be replaced as a whole.

A defective EKS storage unit within an EKV storage bundle can be replaced individually for up to three years after commissioning. If a defect occurs more than three years after commissioning, replace the entire EKV storage bundle.
