Fault reset

The fieldbus controllers automatically perform a fault reset if the cause is remedied. Only in case of a motor short circuit, you have to reset the fault manually. Proceed as follows to reset the fault:

  1. Switch to the network view.
  2. Open the module menu by double-clicking the corresponding module.
  3. Open the "Drives" tab.
  4. Click the [Clear short circuit errors] button.
  • Fault reset is completed.

To reset a motor short circuit fault with fieldbus controllers, use the ClearError process data word.
